Fall Frolic with Oliver

My first Kindergarten Mom outing with Oliver was a fieldtrip to Anne Springs Close Greenway with his class (a wilderness area protected from expansion). I was very nervous getting out and doing something unfamiliar where i wouldn't know anyone but it turned out to be a fun day. We did crafts and found leaves and went on a hay ride to a hay maze where the kids ran around like crazy. I met a couple of the Moms who actually live in my neighborhood, and exchanged numbers with one of them to scrapbook sometime. The kids in my group were really fun and Oliver was so happy to have me be a part of his school experience. At the end of the day he said to me "Mom I love you, thank you for coming with me today".

Aww, that had to make your day! How fun! Cool to be able to meet some moms with your same interests too.
By the way, I'm so glad you started a blog :) I miss you guys, it's cool to be able to still be updated on all that's going on :)

Cherish those wonderful times that spring up amidst all the busyness of motherhood! You are blessed.

sounds like fun (and looks it too) scrapbooking brings us girls together what a nice bond.
I miss you sister! I didn't think much about it till you called me last week. I'm glad that you started a blog! I hope you keep it up. Love you!
I'm glad you had a nice time on the field trip. It really is a blessing when the kids show their appreciation and love for you all on their own...no prompting from the other parent or sibling. I love to go on the field trips with my kids, unfortunately most of them are during tax season and I can't go.
Whoo Hoo! Soounds like much fun in SC!! Miss you my friend.
